"Airparks will be recognised as a customer-focused and innovative market leader in providing parking and related services.
"We look after our people, and will spend time communicating, developing and involving them in our business."
Howard has worked for the Holiday Extras group since 2002 and has been at the heart of driving operations and partnerships, rising to CEO of Airparks, the companys own airport car parking brand, at the end of 2009. Howard honed his skills at HolidayExtras.com as head of our award-winning call centre and customer relations teams; before joining the board in 2005 as operations and people director, and prior to becoming the CEO of Airparks, added directorial responsibility of B2B partnerships - creating successful new partnerships with Thomas Cook, easyJet, Travelodge and The AA amongst others.
After completing his History and Drama degree, Howard headed to Saga as a graduate trainee. Three years later he was call centre manager for long haul and cruise products which then led him to TV Travel Shop as call centre operations manager of a 300-seat contact centre plus 150 homeworkers. Here he was one of the management team who sold the business to US interactive (owners of Expedia).
Howard is married to Katie, whom he met at Saga, and they have two young children, a daughter Evie and son Edward. Airparks' CEO is currently studying for his MBA and is also a successful competitive Ironman triathlete in his rare spare time.
People achieving amazing things against adversity always makes me feel humbled and slightly spoilt...It helps you to appreciate how good youve got it.
