By Train

Trains to London from Luton Airport depart from Luton Airport Parkway Station. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to the train station, which takes 10 minutes. Shuttle bus transfers run every 10 minutes between 5:00am and midnight, and can be caught at the pick up point outside the terminal at Bay T.

The fare for the shuttle bus is included on all tickets booked from Luton Airport (LUA). If your train ticket is from Luton Airport Parkway (LTN) you need to pay for fare. A single is £2.10. Children between 5 and 15 travel half price; under 5s travel for free. Please note that you can only pay for the Shuttle Bus with cash only.

Trains run around every 10 minutes, and go to St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, and London Blackfriars. The average train journey is around 40 minutes.

By Coach

National Express

National Express coaches frequently run from Luton Airport to Central London all day, every day. There are four departures an hour during the day, on two main routes: the A1 and A2.

The A1 service goes to London Victoria Coach Station, and calls at: Golders Green, Finchley & Frognal Underground, Finchley Road, St John's Wood, Baker Street, Portman Square, Marble Arch, and Victoria Rail Station.

The A2 service goes to London Paddington Station via Baker Street, and calls at the same stations as the A1.

Green Line

The Green Line 757 service goes to Victoria Coach Station twice an hour throughout the day, and is available 24 hours a day. The Green Line calls at: Brent Cross, Finchley Road, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner.

By Car

Travelling from London Luton Airport to London is both quick and affordable. The airport is conveniently located near to the M1 and the M25. Central London is 32 miles away and North London is 30 miles away; both take over an hour to get to.

Directions

A1

To head east, go through the A505 dual carriageway through Hitchin.

M1

Simply follow the signs for M1. In two miles, you will join the motorway.

M25

If you're driving to the M40 or M25, follow the signs for the M1 and join the motorway southbound. Join the M25 at Junction 6 and go west for M40, exiting at Junction 16. If you are taking a route via Dunstable, leave the M1 at Junction 9.
