Getting From Gatwick to London

If you're travelling from Gatwick Airport to London, there are a variety of options to ensure your journey goes as smoothly as possible. In just 30 minutes, you can get to the city by train.

By Rail

The Gatwick Express runs non-stop to London Victoria every 15 minutes, and takes 30 minutes.

If you're travelling on Southern, trains run four times an hour to London Victoria via East Croydon and Clapham Junction. The journey takes around 35 minutes.

Trains to London Bridge, St Pancras International, Blackfriars, and Farringdon also run four times an hour, and take between 30 and 45 minutes.

Gatwick Train stations is located at the South Terminal, and is only a short walk from arrivals and departures. If you're travelling from the North Terminal, there is a free shuttle. Train tickets can be bought at station or at the rail information desks in the terminals.

By Road

easyBus

The easyBus is one of the cheapest travel options to London, with prices starting from £2.00. The bus runs seven days a week from the North Terminal at Bus Stops 10 and 11.There is a direct service that runs between Gatwick and West London (via Earls Court and West Brompton), which takes one hour.

National Express

National Express coaches run direct services to London Victoria every hour, which take between 1.5 - 2 hours (depending on the time of day it is).

Taxi

Taxi fares and journey times are variable according to where you're going, but usually take around an hour to get to Central London. We recommend booking your taxi in advance so you will be ready when it comes to collect you.
