Glasgow Airport Roadworks

Delays on journeys to and from Glasgow Airport due to M8 Roadworks

The M8 motorway, adjacent to Glasgow Airport, is undergoing roadworks expected to continue until May 5th.

Access to Glasgow Airport is still possible, but eastbound slip roads from the airport (J28) and at St. James' Inerchange (J29) are closed. As the roadworks progress, further slip road closures will be necessary.

Delays are anticipated as Eastbound traffic is diverted via the westbound M8 and A737 to Linnlive Junction and back. Diversion signage for motorists are in place to ease the confusion during the roadworks at Glasgow Airport.

Anyone flying to or from Glasgow Airport should allow extra time for their journey.

If you have an early flight from Glasgow Airport, avoid the traffic and book a room at a Glasgow Airport hotel with Airparks. Find the perfect Glasgow Airport hotel for you and save yourself the worry of reaching the Glasgow Airport terminal in time.
