When we arrived there were no spaces at all and we spent 20 minutes riding around before spotting a family getting off the bus and heading for their car. The driver that took us to the airport was very friendly and helpful and definitely went the extra mile however the driver on the return to the car park was totally the opposite. We were told the site was full, and asked if we would go Bach to T1 multistory car park. Not a problem, when we tried to leave, we had a £360 Bill showing on our token. JetParks Ringway Manchester Airport The convenience of ANPR for entry and exit was good. The lack of toilets is a downside especially with the current traffic delays around Manchester Airport. The fact that the driver picked us up went to the next terminal and then promptly got out of the vehicle and left us the only passengers on the bus without telling us anything, not even acknowledging that we were there because it was the end of his shift. No space at all in the main car park so an extension area was opened, however no signage to tell you to go there, and the bus stop in that area was marked not in use, so had to walk back to nearest stop in main car park. JetParks Ringway Manchester Airport The car parking facility was fine but not the barrier. We had a cancelled flight at Manchester on 19th May and therefore had to return much later than expected. I therefore followed the instructions on my booking e mail to advise what to do if arriving back later than had been paid for. This asked me to pay the extra by card and the amount would be displayed on the screen. This asked for £15 which I paid immediately. I didn't however get a receipt as the machine appeared not to have any paper in it as it made a noise as if trying to print but didn't. I therefore called the intercom and the advisor said this would have been free of charge if I had called the intercom first! No one advised of this neither via a note on the machine or via the bus driver, so I had paid when not needed £15. I now need a receipt to claim this back and was told I would get one in the post. Not sure when this will arrive but I need it immediately. Whilst a good gesture under the circumstances if not charging, it is no good to anyone if you do not inform of this! I now hope to get my receipt in the post but the machine should never run out of paper as you offer the facility to insure any over charges which I did actually take out, but this needs a receipt on claiming back any costs but your machine did not provide! Very unhelpful and this only added stress to an already stressful situation of having a flight cancelled and the additional charges this incurs overall. JetParks Ringway Manchester Airport To be truthful, you really do need a signage at the main traffic lights at the bottom of the dual carriageway and also at the traffic lights where the patrol station is, not everybody uses satnav. We use the Ringway a lot or Jet park 3 and a sign would not cost that much to put up at these traffic lights. We use these parks quite a few times in year and we know where they are. I would hate to be a stranger using these carpark for the first time as it would be a nightmare to find. Otherwise, Yes parking at Ringway was ok but the parking area has got a lot bigger. The reason I’m disappointed is that we had to wait 45 minutes for our bus to transfer to the airport. The driver explained that you were down a bus because it needed fuelling. Really? Your assistant was very helpful over the intercom and sorted me out immediately, only complaint is its a bit confusing when you arrive as to which entrance to use, i suggest more signage is required to avoid confusion. Since the new road has now opened it is confusing how to get there, better signs would be better placed at the main traffic lights to which direction you have to go and the same at the petrol station lights at the next junction, it's ok in the daylight but looks different in the dark. JetParks Ringway Manchester Airport Our flight was delayed by five hours due to bad weather in Jamaica. We could not land at Manchester Airport yesterday morning because the snow fall had closed the airport. Our flight was diverted to Glasgow from where we disembarked and we were transferred to coaches for a five hour journey back to Manchester. Thus by the time we got to Jet parks Ringway we were about eleven hours late. On leaving the carpark we were initially asked to pay a £15 surcharge. However on speaking to a member of your staff on the intercom the fee was waived. I must further compliment your staff who drive the buses between the car park and the airport terminals. Took a while to find a space and when we then went to bus stop there were about 6 people already there. A bus came after 10 minutes and drove straight past. There were maybe 2 people standing up but could have taken more on quite easily if people had moved down the aisle. Apparently this was the 3rd bus to have driven past ! The next one came along as was wanting to drive past as well until one of the people waiting stood in front and wouldn't let him past. He had been waiting for nearly an hour ! Reluctantly the driver allowed us on and it wasn't overly packed - maybe 10 people standing in the aisle. On arrival back the bus driver totally missed out bus stop 19 and I relised the driver was on his way out to the exit, he had to go round again to drop us off. My vehicle registration number didn't pick up by the system at the barrier. It took a couple of minutes for operator to check my details and issue me with a token to exit barrier in return. Upon arrival at the car park it was very difficult to find a space, I drove around for 5 or 10 minutes. The transfer was fine.
