What should I do when I arrive?
The car park has an entry barrier so drive up to this and wait for it to issue you a ticket and for the barrier to raise - if you have any trouble press the button on the ticket machine and a member of staff should be able to assist you. Once you are in the car park head to the arrivals kiosk and check-in, then head to the drop-off area and hand over your keys, your car will be moved to a parking spot.
How do I get to Stansted Airport?
While the friendly staff at Purple Parking Heathrow find a parking space for your car you can jump on the free transfer bus to the airport. The transfer buses run every 15 minutes and take between 8-12 minutes depending which terminal you need.

When you get back from your trip collect your baggage and then call the car park (they'll provide you with the number when you arrive) and they'll send the transfer bus to collect you; when you get back to the car park just hop in your car and head home.

Having navigated to Terminal 5 Heathrow, Purple Parking was not signposted, however the postcode did work after a small detour that Google Maps takes you on. Parking site was very tight/narrow but process very easy. Buses regular - just glad we got back for the last bus on the return and did not have to take a taxi back tot he car (Purple Parking bus transfer stops late evening). Purple Parking Park and Ride Heathrow Airport Used Purple Parking for Heathrow T5 for first 2 weeks in February. Had originally booked for Gatwick at a really good discounted price in December (£65). However, our flights were changed to Heathrow at short notice so the price went up to £165! We were given a voucher for the entire original cost to put towards the new cost which helped. Purple Parking Park and Ride T3 Heathrow Airport Parking was simple and straightforward but when we came home first the bus did not stop at the front of the queue causing mayhem then we went to Terminal 5 to let off passengers which meant most of the people and thier luggage who just got on had to get off again to let them off which was ridiculous the driver should have been empty when he picked us up at Terminal 2. The supervisor was doing his best to sort it out but there was a wait of about half an hour which was a bit stressful as I was running a bit late but fortunately the airport was quiet and still had plenty of time to catch my flight. Perfect service on way back even though flight very delayed. On the other hand, next time I travel I would probably go with another parking company or find another suitable option mainly because there was no one helping with my suit cases. The drivers just stand aside making you lift your luggage’s into the boot with no support. This happened both ways (outbound and inbound), as a matter of fact inbound the driver was standing off watching me while puffing ciggerate right into my face. However on return to the UK and collecting the car we found a coffee cup in the car with mould growing in it. It obviously had been left there when the car was taken away to be stored in your car park. Not a delightful experience to return back to. Hence I only awarded 7 to the experience score. A driver arrived almost immediately but was clearly quite full already. He greeted us with 'The bus is full. You'll have to get the next one'. I got the message but he could work on the delivery! He didn't strike me as being the top in the class with customer service skills or with his own job satisfaction. Maybe it was just me. The next bus arrived and collected us. The driver loaded our bags into the trailer and although we had to wait a few minutes for the bus to fill up, that was understandable. I arrived and parked my car instantly without the need to drive round looking for a space and a mini bus was waiting to take me straight to the airport. On my arrival back into Heathrow I phoned the company and they arranged for a mini bus to pick me up, I waited around 5 minutes and the bus arrived. On the way back - had to wait half an hour for the shuttle bus; driver more concerned with tickets than customers; no help at all with luggage. Picking up car was efficient, but staff lacked the friendliness and helpfulness of those on duty when I checked the car in. A picture of the site.. a distinctive multi-storey pretty central location next to one of the Premier Inns... and a clear map is needed showing the Bath Road and its relationship to the underpass from the M4. Returning we had to wait rather a long time for the bus to arrive and there was a big delay getting into the car-park behind checking-in vehicles. Having navigated to Terminal 5 Heathrow, Purple Parking was not signposted, however the postcode did work after a small detour that Google Maps takes you on. Parking site was very tight/narrow but process very easy. Buses regular - just glad we got back for the last bus on the return and did not have to take a taxi back tot he car (Purple Parking bus transfer stops late evening).
