Most of the Glasgow hotel deals in this list are modern, really close to the airport and affordably priced - in our eyes the ideal airport hotel.

Their proximity to the terminal makes them the perfect solution for families, seniors and travellers with mobility difficulties. In fact, they're great for anyone!

Just what you're after? Fantastic. Let's get started.

1. Premier Inn, Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Premier Inn

A hugely popular hotel chain for its comfortable, modern rooms, it's no wonder that the Premier Inn at Glasgow Airport, Paisley tops this list.

But what makes this Premier Inn number 1? (Summary)

Best things about the room:

  1. Exactly what you'd expect at a Premier Inn hotel. Clean, comfortable and a soothing purple. Most of the beds are king-size Hypnos beds (with a few exceptions) and you get a choice of soft or firm pillows.

  2. Despite its proximity to both the terminal and the motorway, one of the best things about this hotel is how quiet the rooms are. We couldn't hear anything outside the window and we are not alone. Most of the reviews on TripAdvisor report a peaceful and undisturbed sleep.

  3. The bathroom is simple, clean and reasonably modern. Most rooms have both a bath and a shower, so if you've had a tough week you might even be able to start to unwind with a nice, hot soak in the tub.

Wifi: Free for 30 minutes, but with issues in some rooms.

Best things about the hotel:

  1. Nothing to shout about, but will easily meet all your needs and offer a warm welcome. But the best thing about this hotel is how close it is to the airport. It's less than a five-minute walk away from the terminal, so you can literally roll out of bed into check-in.

  2. There's a bright, chic restaurant serving tasty, good-value food and a homely, comfortable bar for a leisurely drink. If neither of these options appeals to you, Glasgow city centre is a stone's throw away with shopping, cinemas and restaurants.

Breakfast: £8.99 for all-you-can-eat cooked breakfast and £6.99 for a continental breakfast with cereal, fruit and pastries. Children under 16 eat breakfast free.

Parking

Combine your hotel booking with your parking at Glasgow Airport with our Premier Inn with parking option. Including parking at the Long Stay car park, this option is convenient and easy. Just drive to the Long Stay car park on the morning of departure, park up and jump on one of the frequent shuttle buses to the airport. These only take 5 minutes and are included in the price.

A quick summary of the Premier Inn:

As you would expect from a Premier Inn, it's got a huge, comfortable bed, it's smartly decked out in the trademark purple and from the ensuite bathroom to the Freeview TV it's clean and suitably modern. Only a five-minute walk to the terminal too

3. Courtyard by Marriott, Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Courtyard by Marriott hotel room

Scooping bronze in the battle of the Glasgow airport hotels is the ever classy Courtyard by Marriott. A mere 7-minute walk from the terminal at Glasgow Airport and beautifully furnished, the Courtyard offers convenience, comfort and elegance. No tired carpets or dated furniture in sight!

If you just came here for a short, snappy summary of this hotel, our (Courtyard by Marriott summary) will do nicely.

Best things about the room:

  1. Effortlessly chic and seamlessly modern, these rooms were designed to impress.

  2. Warm, light colours and a huge, comfy bed will have you counting sheep in no time. No noise from the road to worry about either!

  3. Squeaky clean, fancy bathroom to wash away the week's worries.

  4. A 7 minute walk to the terminal saves getting on buses or in taxis. Quite nice to stretch your legs before you sit around in the airport for hours.

  5. Huge TV for the evening's entertainment.

  6. You've got a mini fridge for all your snacks (which you can buy from the "market" downstairs) and a safe for all your valuables should you wish to venture out.

You'll need to pay for your WiFi in your room, but it's free in the lobby and public areas like the bar and restaurant. A day's WiFi will set you back £9.

Best things about the hotel:

  1. The rest of the hotel is amazing for an airport hotel. Simultaneously retro, stylish and cosy, it's the perfect place to kick off your holiday. It's definitely our favourite hotel in terms of looks.

  2. Food, glorious food! You wouldn't know you were in a hotel in the Courtyard's super cool restaurant. The food is bistro style and very tasty, the decor is superb and the atmosphere has a nice buzz. No need to travel to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Price wise, we'd say it was reasonable to slightly pricey, but we thought our food was worth the money we paid.

  3. Did someone say 24-hour bar? And a trendy one at that!

  4. There's a well equipped, brand new gym free for you to use.

Breakfast is included in the price of this hotel and offers both continental and cooked breakfasts. Served between 6 am and 10 am.

Things to look out for:

  1. There are mixed reviews of the service, some are glowing whilst others report the service is lacking. We found the service to be excellent.
  2. As this hotel has recently been rebranded from the Ramada Glasgow, it does not have a huge amount of reviews.

Parking:

The parking option included in this deal is Long Stay parking and involves parking at the hotel overnight (included), driving to the Long Stay car park the next morning and then getting a shuttle to the terminal.
