On our return car looked like it had been driven through big muddy puddles all dirt sprayed up both sides. The drivers mat was all muddy and the drivers heated seat button had been left switched on!!! Some services do not do this. Instead you have to carry your luggage onto the bus along narrow corridors then lift it upon a shelf - and the driver is not allowed to help you! Cophall is good! On my return journey I called to advise I was at the airport and ready for collection. I was told the bus would be ten to fifteen minutes. Love Europe, Hate the European Union.Then a bus appeared almost immediately. Although I was not booked in for this bus, the driver called back to "HQ" and alterations were made in arrangements in order to allow me to use that first bus. This flexibility was very impressive. Cophall Parking Gatwick Airport drop off was very easy and the transfer was great to the North terminal. However, the return was not so easy as mini buses were slow to turn up and people were just piling on before the driver had a chance to call out names. We had to wait for a second mini bus to come along (because the first one to arrive was almost full) and even then, despite our name on the list for collection, other waiting customers were rude - even so far as not letting us take seats on the bus!! Having phoned upon return of journey the driver was fully aware who was being picked up unlike other airport parks with full size buses where there is a mad rush to get on instead of a fair queuing system. Inbound not so great arriving at 2330 hrs I know is not the best of times but reception had me arriving the following day, despite the fact that i had given my flight details before leaving. Although the bus was prompt it proceeded to the south terminal where we had to wait for people to arrive, so all in all i was probably on the bus for some 30 mins, not what i expected, but thankfully they had retrieved my car and it was waiting for me at the parking lot, so no all bad.
