An email was sent the day before which was titled ‘airpaks’ so we went here on the day to drop off the car only to discover we weren’t booked in here. No un-necessary delays. Few spaces left when we arrived, with quite a few large vehicles taking up 2 spaces. Bus arrived quickly to take us to airport but had to wait about 15-20 mins on return. Only issue I had was that a white van was parked so close to my passenger door that I couldn’t gain access to passenger seat. PremiAir Main Car Park 1 Edinburgh Airport Although my booking had not been passed on by the booking agent the staff at secure air parks were very pleasant and accommodating. The drop off and pick up driver was very helpful and very pleasant. The drop off and pick up point could not have been any closer to the terminal with a very short distance between the terminal and the car park. Unfortunately due to our flight home being delayed slightly there was a problem exiting the car park with an additional payment required for going over our booking time no 10/15 minutes. On the way back the driver could see us heading towards the bus and waited for us to approach his bus without knowing if we were going on the bus. I would tactfully suggest zone rows alphabetically and number car parking spaces as they do. It makes life sooo much easier and avoids arguments as to exactly where car was left !! Why do Premier not provide a car park plan showing main buildings adjacent roads etc - this could be taken out when parking car and with a pen or pencil marking the approx spot X. Would save much headache. Also- why not provide some marker posts - numbered or lettered throughout the parking areas- this would help. Buses leave regularly with plenty sheltered bus stops around the park so you don't need to walk far from the car. The bus also stops for you if you haven't reached the bus stop in time. PremiAir Main Car Park 1 Edinburgh Airport Given that Premiaire is significantly cheaper than the 'official' airport car parks, I would have been prepared to make some allowances for quality and ease of access. What I discovered is that parking your car in Premiaire's car parks is a quicker and less stressful exercise - you get to your parking space faster, less access roads to navigate and you let the courtesy coach do the work of navigating you to the terminal. Hats off to the excellent coach drivers, very polite and friendly. On my return to the car park, the driver took me right to my car. Now, that's customer service! I will definitely be back! PremiAir Main Car Park 1 Edinburgh Airport Booking was easy however the experience at the site was very different. I booked a place with Premier Air. When I arrived at the air park it was busy, parking was haphazard in designated parking places and cars had parked (and blocked) access routes. I was a bit worried about leaving my car, however it was ok and the shuttle bus to the airport was fine, however based on the obvious overbooking of places in the park itself and the blockage of access routes I would not use Premier Air sites again. On my return the bus was already on the stance and waiting with a very chatty and friendly driver who swiftly had us back at the car park in no time at all. My only criticism being some of us had to park on the access roads within the car park as all spaces were full from people who hadn't booked, which defeats the purpose of booking online when your not given priority over someone just turning up on the day, other than that I would highly recommend.
