However when we returned to our car it was surrounded by cars on either side and in front of it. If I was not there to guide my husband out . It would have been impossible to get it out. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport Airparks are a brilliant provider. Lots of options at different price points. This time we chose to use Locost. They were very cheap with no frills. Downside of the location is that they are further away in Ratho towards the Newbridge roundabout so if you're in a rush this may be a problem. Staff on reception and drivers were very pleasant. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and guided/assisted us to a parking bay. Which was a more personal feeling rather than "its my job". Very chatty and smiling. Bus transfer to the airport was smooth and safe, driver was very professional and courteous. On return we contacted the office and were advised to be at bus stand No7. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport Check-in was done easily and we found the car park without issue. Although others in our group who booked separately through an agent were given the wrong address on the website and ended up elsewhere. Transfer to airport was good. On our return I phoned the number as instructed for pick up twice but got no reply. Assumed the driver was in transit as suggested in the automated message. Bus eventually arrived at 01.30 but the driver did not help anyone with loading their luggage into the bus. I had to help women and pensioners in loading their luggage. On arrival at the car park myself and another had to assist women and pensioners in unloading their luggage as they were struggling. The driver had just disappeared into the office cabin. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport Quite a few things have changed in the last few weeks, you don’t park the cars anymore you have to do it yourself, you don’t load the cases into the back of the minibus, also you have to roam in the dark to find your car in bottom car park. One staff member was very rude!! I also would not say that it’s “secure” as anyone could walk into bottom car park day/night without being challenged. Your mini bus is not so prompt in coming to the stance whereas it used to always be there waiting. Disappointing and have used you for years so will prob go elsewhere due to attitude of driver ! We drove to the park and were immediately told to put our bags on the bus and for me to get on the bus while my husband parked the car in his chosen available spot. It took all of 5 minutes to check in park up and be on our way to the airport. On the way back we called them and the bus arrived to pick everyone up. The drivers were friendly helpful and chatty. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport When we left the car the lady that took us to the airport and the lady at the reception desk were both very helpful. The lady loaded your suitcases and offloaded at airport and was very friendly. On return from holiday the bus was punctual to take you back to the flying Scot car park. The driver had everybody loading their suitcases and off loading their suitcases themselves. When you got to the car parking they weren’t able to advise where they had parked your car and everybody was searching for their cars. It was a bit of a shambles. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport Make sure your bus is at the bus stance to collect your passengers especially when it bad weather and late at night , we have used your company numerous times in the last few years and you bus is never at the airport but almost every other company bus is even when you call the minute you get your luggage to give them a little time to leave the carpark and get to the stance , at night there is almost no traffic so that’s not a excuse in not being at the bus stance in time. However, the return journey was a 33 minute wait from making the call to being collected. Not too bad except other services including a partner company had returned twice in this period. The Scotpark minibus driver was rude to lowcost customers who didn’t know that his advertised lowcost Scotpark minibus was only offering Scotpark services from the same bus terminal 7. I was sat in the seat at the sliding door when the driver pulled it shut from the outside as we got ready to leave for the airport terminal. The door slammed into my elbow - something he could have warned me about. On my return I waited 40 minutes for the shuttle bus. Not particularly impressed by that, especially as I there were two other Low Cost/Flying Scot buses which came and went from the same bus stance but didn't go all the way to Ratho. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport We have used Low cost on a few occasions now and usually go for low cost due to the price. The service is usually pretty good but on the most recent use of the car park we were a bit disappointed by the length of time we had to wait at the airport for the bus to take us back to the car park. We phoned as soon as we had our bags and were told we would have to wait about 10 minutes for the bus. However it was over 20 minutes before the bus arrived and then 15 minutes before the driver decided to leave (he had been waiting for some other travellers who didn't show up). My flight arrived athrs and as such had booked the parking for 8 days rather than 7 days given I would not have reached the depot until afterhrs. However it was remarked that I needn't have booked a further day as I had up until two hours to reach the parking after my flight landed. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport I scored a neutral 5 overall as there were good points and bad points. The arrival was excellent with us being on the shuttle bus within minutes. On the return though, which was around midnight, we were waiting a considerable amount of time in cold temperatures to be picked up. The shuttle initially took passengers to the Flying Scot park, before returning for us and several other passengers. I have individually used the service before with satisfaction but may not be so keen to use it for a holiday flight with our young children. We do not blame the drivers as the traffic was terrible but the flights could be monitored and the bus could be there much quicker. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the return bus luckily it was not raining but when we got back to the car there were two busses sitting so there was no excuse for the bus being packed and one man even walked to his car and was there before us. However I did feel the wait to get to the airport and the route the driver took could have been improved. Your driver should have taken the cut off at the dual carriage way and he would have been to the airport much quicker. Low Cost Edinburgh Airport The parking lot couldn't be found in our GPS and there were no signs to it all the ways (until you get there) so we had to expend 15 min on the phone with someone helping us to get there. Once we got back from our hols, the coach that were suppose to take us to the parking lot is also for another venue, so once we were on the bus ready to go, we were told (in a very rude style) that this service was not for our venue (Low Cost)and that we had to leave the bus and wait for the next coach. Upon my return I rang the desk and when exiting the airport the bus was already in the bay waiting for me. I got back to the car park and my car was at the front waiting, I entered reception and had my keys within 30 seconds. Spot on service, incredible value for money. Would 100% recommend this company.
