Your advisor said that you do not operate the car park at East Midlands and did not know of any procedure to drop off a passenger requiring assistance. Mid Stay 2 East-midlands Airport Car park was easy to find and not too far from the terminal,though if it had been raining we might have got a bit wet.We didnt see a sign for pedestrian access to and from the car park to the terminal,though it was dark so we may have missed it. Mid Stay 2 East-midlands Airport The whole process was about as straight forward as it could have been, from booking via the internet through to actually finding the parking area. Number plate recognition worked both on entry and exit (the first time ever when we have used such parking facilities) but I have one unfortunate gripe (not your fault but possibly not mine either, just mis-judgement). I initially parked with the front of my vehicle passing over a kerbstone edge. Without realising, the kerbstone was slightly higher than others and it was only when I reversed the vehicle that this became evident (dramatically) as it ripped off the bumper underskirt on my car. Utterly annoying/frustrating but it's going to cost me quite a lot to have it repaired. Literally minutes from departures.barrier raised immediately on lreturn. Have used before & during busy times car park can get full. Cheaper rates if can book well in advance. Mid Stay 2 East-midlands Airport Our flight was cancelled so we had to take a flight to another airport 2.5 hours away and return by taxi to pick up our car, we called for advise and was told additional cost of £8 a day may apply which was 1 less worry finally arrived early hours of the morning at exit gate we could not get out called for assistance and the girl who for the time in the morning was bright helpful and understanding the barrier was lifted and no additional cost applied. it's not the money but both advisors we spoke to who were helpful and cheerful in the jobs Mr Tyers 17 Sep, 2016

The car registration identification system picked my car up as soon as I approached the barrier. Once inside there was plenty of spaces to be found with ample room for getting in and out of the vehicle. Upon my return two weeks later the exit system was just as good. As a suggestion, the car park spaces could do with being a little larger for the modern saloon vehicle. I tried three different spaces before I felt comfortable to leave my car as it was either too close to adjacent vehicles or sticking out too far. Mid Stay 2 East-midlands Airport i lost my car keys on holiday, toyota celica's are notoriously secure, it took a long time to find a specialist locksmith who could travel to east midlands and there was a bank holiday. as a result i over-stayed my pre-booking by 8 days. by explaining this to staff on the helpline and then at the car park they let me out with no additional charge which was a massive relief. i was extremely grateful and would recommend to anyone.
