JetParks 1 East-midlands Airport Good and easy to park. The road surface needs to be improved as large chunks of gravel on tarmac between cars. Buses from airport need to be more clear with regards to identifying if long stay or jet park 1 or 2. I would suggest a large sign in the window to help physically distinguish which bus is for which car park. It was not easy to see if correct bus and we had to ask driver (as did other passengers).This is important as passengers tired after travel so stressful and it caused confusion. JetParks 1 East-midlands Airport Not very well. We booked JetParks1 for 4th to 11th May which was confirmed on 9th April. On 27th April we received an email stating that JetParks1 was currently not open so we were being moved to Long Stay 1. Email had full direction instructions so on 4th May we drove to Long Stay 1 only to be told that we should not be there and that this email should not have been sent out and we should go to JetParks1 ? We had to get vehicles behind us to reverse so we could reverse out from the barriers. It was fortunate we had left enough time to spare otherwise we could have missed our flight. As long as you register the correct vehicle reg and the correct days you want to enter and leave.The car in front of us must have only booked for 14 days on a 14 day holiday but with a night flight wasn't due to land till after midnight. I have a large car (Jaguar) and found the only way out of my space was to manoevre back and forth about 4 times before I could actually exit my space. Also on the return trip the driver of the bus was not helpful or polite.The bus was crowded and I could only put my two suitcases just inside the bus albeit clear of the doors, but she told me that I would have to move them to let more passengers on even though there was nowhere to move them to. JetParks 1 East-midlands Airport on arrival the ease of parking was great we parked and jumped on the bus and taken to airport...however on departure it was a nightmare and made us re-consider ever using it again i had paid for sufficient time on car park allowing for any hiccups but on arriving there was no bus to transfer us to the airport from the runway so we had to wait over 25 mins on the plane for a bus to arrive this made us overstay our parking by 20 mins to the tune of a very rude obnoxious person with no customer service skills who would not listen to the reason our overstay was beyond our control demanded we pay another £10 for the barrier to open we had no money on us but he was not interested in this and refused to open the barrier (bearing in mind this is 12.30AM) after a very long day ..we had to pay by credit card to get him to open the barrier i will be putting a formal complaint in today and re-think about using the service in the future Mrs Bowdley 08 Sep, 2018

Eventually after a long wait for the telephone to be answered we were dispensed with a token for our departure home. Then the barrier lifted. Surprisingly we used the token on our return from holiday and the barrier lifted. Surprising yes because the last time we were given a token the barrier refused to lift. At midnight we had extreme difficulty to raise any help. Again after a long time the bus came along and the driver helped us. This wait to leave was in excess of 20 minutes. Several cars in front of us and ourselves all had to speak to an attendant through the intercom, in order for the barrier to be lifted individually for each car. At this time of night it would have been nice to just drive home without disruption. After all, we would not have been in the car park in the first place if we hadn't already paid our parking fee. This is great, as I had poor balance. Hope you are in the process of resurfacing the parking areas though, because although roadways were tarmacced, the large stones on parking area were uncomfortable to walk on with cases. After we coursed a queue of cars before someone told me it was the little sign with a picture of a telephone on. Then when we did press it it took them 3 mins to answer. Also may I take this opportunity to ask if a silver wedding ring, 3mm width with an engraving inside that reads something like "Always in my thoughts dad" as I stupidly managed to loose it and I am desperately trying to find it. Car park was secure due to the number plate recognition barrier and the car park security. Catch a bus from one of the numberous bus stops in the car park which run about every 15 mins to take you to airport departures. Several inconsiderate people ( no doubt only one case of bad parking but apparently 40 or so others followed suit) - they had parked across bays rather than in line so the car park was full when I arrived at the barrier. ''The Voice' directed me immediately to Jet Parks 2 so no panic, no fuss. Your bus drivers are also great, especially on the return journey which was very late at night. We had no issues at all and it was very quick to enter and leave the car park. The place was easy to find and was only a few minutes away from the airport by shuttle bus which ran every 10 mins. JetParks 1 East-midlands Airport The inward journey was quick and efficient, although it took quite a lot of driving round to find a parking space. Bays are not well marked, so there were a lot of cars that were badly parked over a couple of bays. The bus was prompt both ways. On the way back the only hiccup was that the barrier did not automatically rise to let us out. Fortunately there was someone who answered the help button to raise the barrier. On the way out, the machine was asking me for a ticket (which I didn't have as it was plate recognition) so the operator on the other side of the speaker kindly checked my number plate and lifted the barrier. Clear signage, prompt buses which were clean with helpful drivers etc. The only reason the score is not 10 is that the arrival instructions were incorrect. I sat waiting for the entry machine to print a ticket as instructed however this procedure has changed. When I tried to press the help button nothing happened so I drove in and parked hoping to resolve the matter later. I have used other car parks where you hand over your keys and queue at a counter to sort paperwork etc but this is much easier as it's done by barrier entry vehicle number plate recognition.
