Radisson Blu After a long day, and a long drive I was very disappointed to discover that I had been misled. Although the hotel was indeed a 10min walk from the airport, the carpark was a 30min drive away from the hotel!Then when I drove to the carpark I then had a 20min wait for the bus and a 45 min drive back to the hotel (stopping along the way). At the carpark, my details weren't properly processed and so there was no record of my booking, eventually, I was allowed in and issued a car park ticket. This then caused problems when I tried to leave the car park on my return as my details were still not on the system and I was presented with a ã150 parking fee (that I didn't have to pay in the end) however, not a very pleasant experience.Mr Chandler 22 Nov, 2017 (1 out of 5)

Novotel ASKED FOR A EARLY MORNING CALL WHICH WAS LOGGED BY STAFF, NEVER GOT THE CALL AS THEY SAID THEIR SYSTEM WENT DOWN,BUT THE WAY THE GUY JUST SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS WITH HIS DIDN'T GIVE A TOSS ATTITUDE JUST SAID IT ALL. Radisson Blu THe parking side of things went very smoothly and we were pleased.<br /> The hotel fell below standard:<br /> despite paying for an upgrade, there were lots of white blobs (TippEx?) onmany areas of the csrpet and on the chair. Only slight grumble is the ã3 charge per person per way to the airport. Premier Inn I was an absolute disaster. I had booked well ahead and had agreed to leave my car at approx. 4.00 p.m. on Sunday, 3rd September and collect @ 1.00 p.m on the 11th ( I received an email confirmation ). When I arrived at the automated barrier, I had to press the button as nothing happened. A voice then told us that I wasn't booked in until the next morning, I had to argue about this and then they let me in. On the 11th we picked up the car at 12.45 p.m on the 11th and was then was asked to pay ã184.00 and then had to argue again that we didn't owe anything as we had only stayed within the limits of my booking and had pre-paid. Ramada This was a pretty terrible hotel. The whole place stunk of cigerattes and the staff tried to be helpful and apologetic but frankly didn't know what they were doing. Travelodge We did not get a wink of sleep as we were in the 1st room next to doors and they kept banging all night with guests and staff going in and out all night and being very noisy. <br /> The written instructions on the booking info of how to get to the long stay were also completely wrong, resulting in us having to ask for help and almost missing our flight. Premier Inn The hotel stay was great room lovely and good value for money. I was happy with the service and staff the only issue we had was the shuttle bus was over packed with people driver armed people in kids having to stand that couldn't safely hold on. People could'nt put cases in rack because they were full. It didn't feel safe and had there been an accident I dread to think what would've happened. Premier Inn I booked Premier inn at Stansted with Long Stay parking, which included the night we arrived at the hotel. However, much to my annoyance I was then made to pay a further ã8 to park at the hotel for the night or if I parked at the Longstay I would have had to pay for the coach. This wasn't made clear to me and I should have been given the opportunity to state that I would arrive at the Long Stay the following morning saving myself one days parking. Days Inn When we got to our groundfloor end room we were dismayed at a constant humming/dronning noise coming from a nearby outside generator. Receptionist came to investigate and was surprised as she had not heard it before. She then offered us a choice of other rooms and we settled for one on the first floor a bit further away from the source of the noise although still apparent. We had an early.30 start so wanted a good 6 - 7hrs sleep which we managed on and off. Could not believe that shortly after our alarm went off the dronning sound suddenly stopped and all was peacefully quiet. Not sure if this was just a one off disturbance but if not then it needs to be investigated and remedied if possible. Would use again but would need to check this was not to be a problem again. Radisson Blu Couldn't have been easier. Hotel was lovely and we were able to park almost outside the hotel. We were then delayed returning as Easyjet cancelled out flight so we had to stay away an extra night. Emailed to let the hotel know. No problem and no extra charge. The Ash Barn Annex Bathroom cols, shower not functioning properly, toilet didn't flush properly, mirror not attached to bathroom wall. <br /> Had to walk across in the dark from the pub where the car was left overnight with luggage which we were not aware off when booking. Radisson Blu Hotel really nice. But evening spoiled by the room service, they got our order wrong and then couldn't understand why we where annoyed when what they sent was more expensive than what we ordered. Radisson Blu We used the Hotel with Parking option for a short break away. The hotel was lovely, friendly staff, large comfy bed and a fabulous sub 5min easy walk into the terminal building. The parking couldn't be easier, we parked filled in a couple of forms from reception, then handed over the keys. When we arrived back we just collected the keys from the Concierge who told us where the car was, and drove off, from landing to driving was 30mins.
