Food and drink at Stansted Airport

There are plenty of places to eat at Stansted Airport, whether you have time for a relaxed meal or need something quick before boarding.

  • Coffee and lighter bites: choices include Costa Coffee, Caffè Nero, Pret A Manger and Joe & The Juice.
  • Quick meals: Burger King, Leon, itsu and Tortilla are among the faster options.
  • Sit-down food and drinks: choices include Comptoir Libanais, Terracotta Italian Kitchen, The Camden Bar & Kitchen, The Windmill and Bottega Prosecco Bar and Caffè.
  • Different dietary needs: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal choices are available across selected venues.

Restaurants operate on a walk-in basis, so it is sensible to allow a little more time during busy travel periods.

Stansted Airport lounge

Essence by Escape Lounges offers a quieter place to wait before your flight, with cold dishes and light bites, hot and soft drinks, selected wine and bottled beer, Wi-Fi, charging points and flight-information screens.

The lounge is near Gates 1-19 and is only available to passengers travelling with eligible airlines that depart from those gates. Ryanair and easyJet passengers cannot access the lounge. Once you have travelled to Gates 1-19, you cannot return to the main terminal, so check your airline and departure gate before booking.
