Meet and Greet Newcastle Airport New meet and greet is very handy and close to the terminal building. The old system they did bring your car up to the desk for you to collect. Now they tell you the location and you go and find it yourself. You also don’t need a ticket to get out, you just press a green button. Still a good service and will use again in future. Meet and Greet Newcastle Airport When we dropped the car off it was perfect, when we returned the car was ready however the chap wasn't there as he had been pulled away to look at some problem in the terminal. Therefore we had to wait for 10 minutes in the frost and when he returned he did apologise and give us the key and the exit ticket we then had to scrape the windows to remove the frost. So we were a bit confused at first about how to proceed, but we got there in the end. Our return was simpler,and we got away in no time, so it was far quicker than using the regular long stay. Meet and Greet Newcastle Airport The best park of using this service at Newcastle airport was how close (once we parked our car and handed over keys) we were to the terminal. This was ideal with a small family. The reason for not a higher rating was that when we got into our car, both the driver seat (expected) but also the passenger seat had the seat settings changed drastically and the head rests moved to the top so much that they were rested on the ceiling of the car. We were also under the impression that someone had looked through the glove box and compartment between the front seats of the car which made my feel uneasy. Meet and Greet Newcastle Airport Car park direction instructions need to be clearer as no mention of entering a car park area firstly via the barrier gates, we were unsure if this was the correct area, it’s should tell you to enter then proceed to the cabin where you should go in and see the attendant, instructions need to be clearer to avoid any confusion, upon collection of my car the security gates were raised and we were advised just to go when ready whilst we would prefer to see the vehicles in a secured environment, but overall happy with the service received at Newcastle airport. When we returned, the car was waiting for us so all we had to do was collect the key and ticket for exiting the car park and we were on our way home. We arrived back into the uk at 9.20 and were on the road by 9.40 including passport control etc. The staff in the kiosk even opened the car remotely as we reached it while the driver was getting the keys..... just so easy. I had a puncture in my car the night before travel and at 7pm on a Sunday night (with no chance of getting my puncture fixed.) it was not a bother for the company to change the car to my fathers car instead.
