Mercure Bowdon Manchester Airport Good overnight stay in the Mercure Hotel - small, clean and adequate bedroom, with friendly and efficient staff. A short ten minute drive to the T2 car park but unfortunately I had just missed a bus (saw it pull away from the bus stop as I was parking) and had to wait over twenty-five minutes for the next to arrive. Once in the bus, it took twenty minutes to drive to the airport due to drop offs and pick ups, which ultimately resulted in a much longer transfer time than I had anticipated, even though i had trialled a run the previous evening. Mercure Bowdon Manchester Airport The hotel room was tiny and far far too warm. The mattress was fit for the bin with a gigantic hole in the centre. We ended up flipping the mattress and turning it round just to try and get some sleep. And there was a function on which we had not been told about and had been placed in the room above so it was incredibly noisy. To add to all this, it is expected that people have heavy luggage being an airport hotel but there is no lift. You can request to be on the ground floor as i had done, but were placed 2 flights from the ground above the function sweet instead. Very very unimpressed. Miss Mackay 29 Jun, 2017

Mercure Bowdon Manchester Airport The only thing that let you down was on the instructions email you are told to wait at the barrier on arriving for a token,this now not the case,I was at the barrier for several minutes trying to get help from one of your team,I was then told just to drive through,your booking information need updating... Mercure Bowdon Manchester Airport I was rather concerned about the disclaimer, in as much that the provider would have no responsibility for my vehicle, fortunately all was well. Mercure Bowdon Manchester Airport The taxi transfer service was second to none. Prompt and reliable. Would certainly use them again. The standards in the hotel however were not as we would have expected. Some areas were rather untidy and lacking in care and cleanliness. We would also not expect to see front of house staff looking less than smart and tidy - certainly not wearing threadbare clothing as was one member of staff. Mrs Keeler 06 Jul, 2016
