Thistle T5 Heathrow Airport The hotel was good and the room was quiet despite being so close to the runway. There was a major problem finding a parking space. Thistle T5 Heathrow Airport Everyone knows the anxiety of having to get to the airport on time, especially with an "early-ish" start and including the M25. Removing this pressure is worth everything. Add to that an Hotel that means your car is kept safe, whilst you keep your keys; good staff who welcome you with a smile and the opportunity to have a meal overlooking the runway and you are sorted. Our only issue was the payment required to get to the airport? This felt unfair. to pay for a hotel and parking at Terminal 5 and then have to make a further payment to get to the airport. An Attendant was eventually found; he was very helpful & directed us to a spare parking bay, for which we were very grateful, especially as we had made a reservation for 2 weeks.
