Hilton T5 Heathrow Airport The directions were a little confusing regarding the Hoppa bus.On the return leg we landed at a different terminal than departure and struggled to work out where to catch the bus back to the hotel where our car was parked. Hilton T5 Heathrow Airport Very nice hotel and surrounding area. Windsor is only a 10 minute drive away and is a lovely place to go and have a mooch around before you go away the next day. The hotel had a wedding on so breakfast was a little stressful to say the least...I served myself to my own coffee behind the bar because I was sick of waiting. We were unsure about being able to leave the hotel using the car the night before out holiday. It was clearly a strange request as the reception staff didn't either.
1.) get more staff in to serve breakfast when you have a wedding party in.
2) more self explanatory car parking would have been helpful.

Hilton T5 Heathrow Airport Black cabs at Terminal 5 refused to take us to Hilton T5 - and no other transport was available. We missed the last Hoppa Bus due to our evening BA flight being delayed. At the T5 taxi rank, we were left waiting (my brother in a wheelchair) between 11.30 and 12 p.m. as cabs whizzed past with fares all of whom had arrived in the queue after us. Only when I told one of those fares (who queried why he was being offered a taxi before us)- out loud - that the cab drivers were refusing to take us (at which point I was verbally abused by one of those very drivers as he passed by with his fare on board) that we we were hustled into the next available cab by the presumed-to-be T5 staff member in charge of the taxi queue.
Our predicament was made worse by the unhelpful response of Hilton T5 reception when I called to try to get them to get a car to us. Hilton T5 needs to ensure that taxis allowed to serve T5 do not discriminate against their guests Hilton T5 needs to ensure that taxis allowed to serve T5 do not discriminate against their guests. Until that happens, Hilton T5 guests need to be aware of the real risk of being stranded at the terminal, particularly at night.
