Hampton by Hilton with breakfast Purple Parking was really busy when we arrived because of flight delays and awful weather. Staff were a bit stressed but perfectly pleasant. Hotel perfect. Sofitel Soffitel overnight accommodation very good, car left in hotel carpark with keys left at reception. Returning on Dec 6 at 22-30 we found the hotel closed as a quarantine hotel no information about how to recover my keys. none of the people manning the hotel appeared to be able to understand my question about where my keys were. Sofitel We stayed overnight at Sofitel Gatwick Airport (21.11.21) and left our car at the hotel. We arrived back from Madeira at 22.30 on 6.12.21, tired and stressed from trying to sort out passenger locator forms.<br /> The tunnel to the hotel was locked with a note apologising for inconvenience but with no instructions for getting our car keys. We went to the hotel main entrance but none of the 12-15 people on the door seemed to be able to understand what I was saying, 'where are my car keys?' The situation appeared shambolic,<br /> There was no information on the door to help. Eventually some one in authority said 'go round the back keys are in the car-park'. Eventually tracked keys to the meet and greet kiosk. I had had no message from the hotel to or Airparks to warn me. Holiday Inn Everything went to plan and ran smoothly. Me and my family stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Hotel and left our car for the duration of our holiday. Cambridge We had a great stay overnight, we had a standard room, which was modern, clean & comfortable. We left our car there & had an early morning courtesy bus to the airport, which was only around 10 minutes away. On our return we rang to say we had returned & were picked up very quickly. Holiday Inn Hotel with parking was great. <br /> Only problem we had was our confirmed email got lost & there was no possible way we could talk to anyone by phone, to find out our booking ref . <br /> We tried everything, sent messages, phoned helped line. No joy at all. The hotel in the end accepted our personal details to confirm are booking. Cambridge Everything went well, we stayed over at The Cambridge Hotel near Gatwick Airport & left our car for 8 nights. Room was very comfortable, smart & clean. We had an evening meal which was huge, portions a bit on the large size for us, but very nice. Had a couple of drinks from the bar & went to bed. Cambridge Took an hour to pick us up after calling (supposed to be 10-15 minutes), reception staff rude and unhelpful, room had damage and no working heating for duration of stay (reception staff unhelpful with this as well), staff walked into our room twice with no notice despite door being locked, reception staff called to extend booking on first morning despite repeatedly confirming two-night booking, refused to give any sort of refund when checking out, said they'd be in contact regarding our complaints and have made no contact.Mr Fullen 14 Dec, 2017 (1 out of 5)

Cambridge We used the Airparks service for an early morning flight to Portugal. We stayed in the hotel overnight and used their onsite parking for 5 days whilst away. The service is no frills and you get what you pay for. I was happy with the way things went and that my car was kept on site. There seem to be some issues with being picked up from the airport by another customer we met. Apparently there was a delay and some confusion but if you follow there instructions there should be no problems and we did not encounter any problems. Russ Hill VERY dated! When we arrived it was dark and the car park was extremely difficult to navigate to find a space. On arrival the rooms were freezing! Old fashioned heaters that took forever to warm up. On our stay after returning from the holiday was in a different room that was dirty, cracked sink, and just really grubby! Didnââ¬â¢t complain at time as didnââ¬â¢t arrive until gone midnight and was ready to sleep. Airport Inn Everything. No heating. When we book we was not told there was no heating. Was given a heater that hadn't been PAT tested. Europa Booking was fine, confirmation received.Hotel reception staff helpful. However parking difficult. Cars were parked everywhere and had to squeeze into a tiny space. Hotel room very basic and I didn't even want to use the shower. Bar area fine and food was nice. The carvery option in restaurant was poor and glad we chose to eat in the bar as were informed by other guests that it was not nice. Sofitel Pick up OK. When I landed I called the number listed and the operator said go to level 0 and your car will be waiting outside. After walking around for a while I discovered that my car was in car park 5. When I got into the car the seat had been adjusted in every way possible and it took me a while to get it back to where I was comfortable. While driving home I found that every control had been changed in some way. This was the last thing I needed when landing in the early hours of the morning. I pay you to park my car. As this was an unavoidable extra the price should have included this so i could make a proposer price comparison and i might have picked a different hotel. It was difficult to tell what time to give for returning also as i presumed that it was the time to get the bus as most request that for bringing the car to the front for pickup, but it later turned out to be the time for leaving the car park which would need to be significantly later incase of delay. Hilton We arrived to book in just before midnight having been away only to be told there was only one room left and that was a twin. As we had booked a double we were not happy. The return was very quick, although the bus picking us up at Gatwick did a bit of a tour, including picking up from Premier Inn. When you come out of the airport, you want to get back to your car asap. We gave our cab up to help them as their flight was before ours. Ramada Crawley Gatwick No problems at all. Excellent service from both the hotel and the parking venue. No issues with anything. Transport to and from the AIrport was great. Happy that there was no damage to the car or any unexpected miles etc. Very happy with this as this was a first time use. Would suggest that if you're staying overnight, arrive early and recce the parking location in day light to make things easier. It's not hard to find but if you're unfamiliar with the area and road layout it's worth doing. Acorn Lodge Stayed Acorn lodge, got the room in the attic. Can't stand properly to have a shower! When we arrived home to collect the car, it only took 10mins for the bus to arrive after phoning. Were advised when we booked that the car would be moved to another site, which we were taken to, but was much further out of my way in a very muddy car park of a hotel that I had tried to avoid using! Sofitel The car park facility was as described, we parked and left the keys with the Reception as instructed. Our hotel booking was for the day of return due to our plane arriving at 1am in the morning. Best Western Skylane I wanted to book a hotel from which I could get a shuttle direct to the airport. I landed up having to drive from the hotel to Pueple Parking at 4.00 am.<br /> The Great Western Hotel was really comfortable with good food, and Purple parking was quick and efficient, so individually, both excellent. Marred by having to find Purple Parking and drive to it , thus having to get up earlier than expected. Cambridge We stayed at Cambridge Hotel, Gatwick before the night before our holiday. The accommodation was fab, beds comfortable and restaurant was lovely. Sofitel The Sofitel was absolutely fine - stayed there for one night both before and after my holiday (I have stayed here in the past too). They score 9 out of 10 (rather than 10)because there was something wrong with the colour on the TV in the bedroom on the first night - everyone was green, bit like watching Shrek! Reported to reception when I left - sure they will have fixed it by now. If I fly from Gatwick again, the Sofitel will be my hotel of choice.
