Shops & Leisure at Bristol Airport

Situated in the West Country, Bristol Airport is one of the UK’s top ten busiest airports with an average of 5 million customers passing through each year. To accommodate such a large number of people, Bristol Airport plays host to a wide range of shops, restaurants, and cafes to occupy everybody who is either waiting for a flight or just arrived back. As with most airports, there are shops available before and after the security checks.

Before the Security Checks

Despite Bristol Airport being on the list of the top ten busiest airports in the UK, it is still a rather small airport compared to that of Heathrow and Edinburgh. There are two shops available before the security checks which people can visit even if they don’t intend to fly. WHSmith is situated here as well as at arrivals and is a great stop for magazines, books, games, and travel guides, as well as other travel accessories. Also placed there is Flying Visit, a small shop offering confectionary, snacks, gift items, and the National Lottery.

After the Security Checks

Once you are past the security checks, there are a number of other shops and restaurants awaiting you and your first stop should be the Superdrug Chemist. Superdrug stocks plenty of toiletries and medications, both branded and own brand products, including suncare, travel sized shampoos, toothpastes and other toiletries, as well as jewellery and sunglasses. You can also pre-order baby food, milk, and nappies in advance. For other jewellery items and accessories there is the popular Claire’s Accessories, and Collection, stocking luxury designer names at tax free prices. For more tax free items is the World Duty Free shop for perfumes, alcohol, cigarettes, and more.

Dining at Bristol Airport

Once you decide it’s time for a bite to eat or drink, Bristol Airport has a wide range of catering facilities available for everyone to enjoy. For a simple snack there is a SUBWAY for fresh sandwiches, and Caffe Ritazza, both situated before the security checks. After the security you will find a much larger choice including everyone’s favourite Burger King, as well as a Starbucks Coffee shop. For something bigger and more satisfying, a unique dining experience is available with the Seafood Bar, offering fresh seafood and champagne. Alternatively, there is a Dexter’s Restaurant perfect for families, or the BarZero9, great for the adults.

Airparks offer a fantastic range of Bristol Airport parking options at Bristol Airport, so you can enjoy the facilities and shops safe in the knowledge your car is in good hands.
