Multi-Storey Bristol Airport Easy to book. However, having paid £152 to park in the Multi-storey at Bristol airport the actual experience was very disappointing. We arrived at 4.45 a.m. on a wet and dark morning and the directions both outside and inside the car park were very poor. The lighting and signage was poor to non existent. We initially couldn’t find a space on the lower deck and couldn’t find the slipway up to the upper decks. The green light indicating a space was flawed as there were cars already parked there. Having taken about 20 minutes we found a space on the upper floor, which to be fair was well spaced. But by that time steam was coming out of my ears!!! Not a great start to our getaway! Multi-Storey Bristol Airport All worked well, however we had to put the card in the machine when driving out and I thought number plate recognition was all we needed, although having to use the card made sense for security reasons. The walk from the car park to Bristol airport is up quite a lot of steps, which isn’t great with heavy suitcases and it was outside and chucking down with rain, so less than ideal. Multi-Storey Bristol Airport the booking was easy to do and the car par itself was very convenient . The only issue I had was that after inserting the ticket to exit , by the time i closed the window as it was pouring with rain the barrier closed itself and i was stuck , the intercom button didn't appear to work and i had to follow another car out to be able to exit . i confirmed this by phone as soon as i got home . Multi-Storey Bristol Airport The booking was so simple , I had to change the car at the last minute due to mechanical problems and change the duration of stay and it was so easy. We used the multi storey at Bristol. On the negative, the direction signs inside the car park could be clearer. The lights above the bays which go green to signify an empty bay we’re permanently on but randomly so we had to drive round and round thinking each bay which showed green was empty, VERY FRUSTRATING. Multi-Storey Bristol Airport This is the first time that I have used the multi storey car park at Bristol airport. For a new facility I would ask why parking space vacancies are not indicated on entry. This would save much time and frustration in seeking aisle floor by floor for a vacant space. Although parking was prepaid, exit was not automatic and a credit card payment requested of over £200. As my booking reference was not to hand, I had to park up to speak to your control centre to get clearance. Then told that as booking was through holiday Extras, the booking reference had not been recorded!!!!! Not impressed John Mr Townsend 29 May, 2019
