Long Stay Belfast Airport Ease of booking. Ease of parking although I understood the machine would issue a ticket which it didn't. It was just after 4 o'clock in the morning and there was no one to ask. There wasn't even an information desk that I could see in the departure lounge. Fortunately when I returned to the car park a week later again in the early hours of the morning there was no difficulty in exiting the car park. I just drove up to the barrier and it opened. Handy to the airport entrance but had trouble finding a "blue badge parking space" because others were parked who had no badge on display. These illegal parkers should be clamped. Long Stay Belfast Airport Our only complaint was that there were no trolleys available in the section where we had to park, the surface was very uneven and the stones were not kind to the wheels on our suitcases..really for an International Airport it is an embarrassment compared with facilites at other airports. The machine also wouldn't accept our ticket when leaving, we had to show proof of our booking and reference number before we were let out...not a good experience to be honest, but its close proximity to the airport is its redeeming factor. Contacted air parks staff they quickly sent a van with battery leads which got the car started and in minutes we were on our way home. Many thanks to the member of staff who helped us.
