  " The car parking facility was fine but not the barrier. We had a cancelled flight at Manchester on 19th May and therefore had to return much later than expected. I therefore followed the instructions on my booking e mail to advise what to do if arriving back later than had been paid for. This asked me to pay the extra by card and the amount would be displayed on the screen. This asked for £15 which I paid immediately. I didn't however get a receipt as the machine appeared not to have any paper in it as it made a noise as if trying to print but didn't. I therefore called the intercom and the advisor said this would have been free of charge if I had called the intercom first! No one advised of this neither via a note on the machine or via the bus driver, so I had paid when not needed £15. I now need a receipt to claim this back and was told I would get one in the post. Not sure when this will arrive but I need it immediately. Whilst a good gesture under the circumstances if not charging, it is no good to anyone if you do not inform of this! I now hope to get my receipt in the post but the machine should never run out of paper as you offer the facility to insure any over charges which I did actually take out, but this needs a receipt on claiming back any costs but your machine did not provide! Very unhelpful and this only added stress to an already stressful situation of having a flight cancelled and the additional charges this incurs overall. I could therefore had done without paying the £15 had I have known. "

  " All good with the booking process. What is not good is the design of the new Manchester T2W multi storey. Clearly, they've aimed to cram in as many spaces as possible to profiteer. As a result, if you have anything bigger than a compact car, you'll barely fit in the spaces. So, with today's standard of driving and people being what they are these days, expect more dings, scratches, scrapes on your return. Maybe there was a Spinal Tap/Stonehenge scenario between the architect and contractor (look it up). "

  the attendants were on hand to advise us where to park
  and the staff at the reception area were very helpful.
  Everything ran smoothly.

  " Very well signposted and easy to get to. Undercover parking. Not too far from the airport terminal and well signposted. There are a few roads to cross to reach the terminal building and we were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 children) and found it easy enough.
  On returning, the car park was well signposted and once again a 10-15 minute walk. No problems on entering and leaving the car park as the barrier raised after number plate is read by a sensor. "
