  " Location to the main airport building was good as it resulted in a short bus trip. However, the car park would benefit from someone directing you to the available spaces as we found that there were limited spaces when we arrived. This made it time consuming trying to find a space to park in this vast car park. "

• Terminal Car Park 1
  " The Bad:
  1. Like all UK car parks, the parking bays are too small - this must be addressed. You can barely get your door open once parked. A VW Golf is now 1.8m wide, so with a 2.4m parking space only 60cm is available at each side to open a door, assuming a similar vehicle is parked adjacent. Less if it's a bigger or poorly parked car. Family estates are wider still, and many SUVs are longer than 4.8m - bigger than the space itself - and almost 2.4m wide! You should also recognise that all the driving lanes in the car park are also too narrow, and although multi-storey parking is a good way to save surface space, they must be built big enough for modern (and future) vehicles to manoeuvre around easily as well as park.
  2. The exit is poorly signposted. The signs are attached to the concrete cross-members of the roof, which conceal the relatively small signs until you are too close to the sign itself. Suggest paint on the floor or alternative sign positioning. Also, the lighting was broken on half of the 3rd level, so I couldn't see the signs in the dark anyway.
  3. The £3 pick-up/drop-off is blocking traffic into the airport. This system is not only a disgusting and embarrassing money-maker, but the infrastructure is also unable to cope with volume and affects access to the all car parks at Luton. I had to queue for 10-15 minutes to get to the (empty) lane that took me to the multi-storey.
  The Good:
  1. The vehicle recognition at entry and exit works well and is convenient. Exiting was easy.
  2. The relative proximity to the terminal is good. "

  " The car was easy to drop off and collect from airparks and I have no concerns about leaving my car with them. However communication was poor. Upon arrival back to the UK we struggled to find the correct bus stop. The airparks website and e-mails both had different instructions - both to stops that did not exist. A fellow customer tried to phone airparks, but sadly they did not provide them with any information and were quite rude. It was a bit of a guessing game as to where the bus would turn up and we subsequently missed on due to this. I have used airparks several times before with no issues, so I was disappointed to have this experience this time. "

  " There is no issues parking the car and pick up, but I feel that there should be more signage from the motorway junction marking the route?
  Also my car was scratched whilst it was there and there is no clear procedure for reporting this incident. We arrived back after midnight, in the cold and rain in dimly light surroundings, did not see the scratch on my back quarter panel, have sent an email to a customer relations email address with a picture but really need some contact over this from you.

  " Eventually getting on the bus back to the carpark from the air terminal after the first bus driver sat at the bus bay for 4 mins just looking at us when it would have been possible to give us access through the gate and let us onto the not full bus. "

  " I think my laptop and ipad was stolen in the car park. Its now now turned up somewhere in harlow. So i dont know if somebody from airparks accidently picked it up. But it would be great of i could get it back.
  Other than the whole laptop and ipad scenario. My car was picked up and delivered right on time, so i cant conplain about the service. "
