  " We feel our car is safe in Car Park 1 at Cardiff Wales Airport. The only problem we have is the number plate recognition system which does not recognise our private plate.
  On the last three occasions we have had to use the operating machine to allow the barrier to rise on leaving. Our online booking shows the correct number and we always have the reference with us. This does not prevent from booking again in. "

  " It’s only approx a 5 minutes walk to the terminal. However, the barrier did not raise automatically & had to accept a ticket. On the return from holiday the barrier again did not raise automatically. I had to insert the ticket from my entry which informed me that I had to pay £75 before I could leave. I managed to contact the attendant & I explained. I was lucky I had my confirmation number & I was able to leave. "

  One suggestion- I am very particular about my car and was very very annoyed when another customer parked inches away from my car - There was no damage but I would prefer to pay extra for larger space or guaranteed protection for

  " System should be updated to recognise all number plates as we had a problem gaining entry.(private plate) So had to intercom through.same problem on exiting. Took a while to answer intercom thus forming a question behind us. "
