What should I do when I arrive?

Drive up to the entry barrier and the camera will automatically read your number plate and issue you a ticket - if you have any trouble at the barrier just press the "call" button for assistance. Once the barrier has raised find yourself a suitable parking space (one that you'll remember!) and park up; you keep your keys so there's no worry that your car will move while you're away.

Top Tip: This car park does have a height restriction of 3.5m or 11'6" and Transit-type vans are not allowed.

How do I get to Stansted Airport?

The Mid Stay car park at Stansted Airport is not just the closest car park but it also has the most frequent transfers. Once you've parked up and grabbed your luggage just jump on the free transfer bus which will get you to the terminal in about 5 minutes - The transfers run every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day.

What about when it's time to leave?

When you return from your trip you can catch the free transfer bus back to the car park and collect your car. Drive to the exit barrier and insert the ticket you were given when you arrived to raise the barrier. If you have any difficulties there is a "call" button on this machine too, press it and a member of staff will be happy to help you.

The Mid Stay car park has accessible parking bays, toilets and all transfer buses are wheelchair accessible. The parking spaces are on a first come, first serve basis and you will need to display your badge while you're away.
