We have been notified by the Highways Agency of essential road works that may affect your route to the airport on either the 19th, 21st or 22nd March 2007.

Monday 19th March:
M1 J8 Northbound entry slip closed - Diversion via M1/M10 J1 (A405) and return A414 Breakspear Way eastbound - single lane running.
Closure between 22:00 and 05:00 hours for installation of Varioguard safety barrier.

Wednesday 21st March
M1 J8 to J10 Northbound, MP 39/6 to 50/4 - single land running in contraflow lane
During the above mainline closure the following slip roads will be closed:
M1 J9 northbound exit slip - diversion via M11 J11
M1 J9 northbound entry slip - diversion via M1 J8
M1 J10 northbound exit slip - diversion via M1 J11
The above closures will operate between 22:00 and 05:00 hours and are required for bridge work and safety barrier works.

Thursday 22nd March
M1 J8 northbound, MP 39/6 to 52/1 Lane 3 (contraflow) lane closed.
Closure between 22:00 and 05:00 hours for safety barrier works.
