Leeds Rhinos Fly to Victory from Leeds Bradford Airport
Leeds Bradford Airport saw a scrum of passengers heading for Barcelona on Friday 18th July when the Leeds Rhinos checked-in. The rugby league team were heading off to face the Catalan Dragons, courtesy of their official sponsor Jet2.com.
The Rhinos squad, totalling 120 people, consisted of a massive selection of players, coaching staff as well as backroom personnel. The Leeds Rhinos beat the Catalan Dragons 37-24 in a top of the table clash this weekend.
Team captain Kevin Sinfield thanked the Jet2.com staff stating: "The club and players had a warm welcome from Jet2.com at Leeds Bradford airport, we would like to thank all the staff who were so helpful to us and made sure everything was sorted for us."
Marketing Manager at Jet2.com, Jonathan Alcock said: "Leeds Rhinos is a local club with massive support from the people of Yorkshire; we look forward to continuing a great partnership."
