Heineken Cup Final
EDINBURGH Airport is the landing ground for thousands of fans flying in to see the Heineken Cup final. Next weekend the all-French final between Stade Francais and Toulouse takes place at Murrayfield.
Flights have been chartered especially to cope with the influx of extra passengers. The Airport staff expect an extra 17 thousand or so visitors between Friday May 20 and Monday May 23.
It's the10th birthday of The Heineken Rugby Cup final this year and Edinburgh has planned a 4 day festival to coincide with the rugby final. Supporters can look forward to a festive few days and then a massive party to celebrate the Cup final.
