Mid Stay 3 East-midlands Airport When we arrived at 05am the barrier had ceased to work and there was a queue of cars trying to access the car park. A maintenance man turned up but was unable to rectify. Eventually he managed to raise the barrier and allowed the cars access. On our return a month later the anpr did not raise the barrier. I used the intercom and he told me I should have collected a disc on the way in. Aftter I explained what happened he allowed us to leave. Not a smooth experience!! Mr Anderton 06 Mar, 2022
Mid Stay 3 East-midlands Airport Car park easy to find but couldn't get onto it. Had to reverse and try again to see if barrier would raise and it didn't! Ended up pressing button but no one to talk to so was given a token. On return couldn't exit. Pressed button to talk to someone who i think we woke up! Eventually lifted barrier for us. Mid Stay 3 East-midlands Airport We used the mid-stay parking at EMA from the 23rd September to the 7th October 21. It was easy to find, and despite the car park being probably around 80% full when we arrived, we found a space without any problems? The only negatives being is that it's not very well lit, we got there at 5am and it was a little difficult navigating the car park due to the fact that it was hard knowing which direction to drive with it being what looked like a one way system which brings us to the other negative, the painted arrows and the parking bay white lines need repainting badly, we came face to face with another car whilst trying to find a space as we'd gone the wrong way down the one way system simply because the road markings had faded to the point that they were almost invisible! It's probably a difficult job to do when the car park is full, but please repaint the road markings and parking bays, it would make life a lot easier when trying to find a space in the dark early hours? On arrival back to the park after our holiday the experience was the same, the barrier let us out immediately after recognising the number plate and we were on our way. After speaking on the inter com the barrier lifted. This had obviously happened to the car in front as well as we had to wait while they contacted the help desk. Hopefully this was just a glitch ? Mid Stay 3 East-midlands Airport When we arrived our vehicle was not recognised. It took at least 5 minutes for someone to respond to the buzzer communication by which time I had started telephone contact with the helpline so was holding 2 conversations. We were told that the last booking date held for us was May. When we quoted the booking reference for the booking we were allowed to pass through the barrier. We then experienced a delay in getting out of the car park and had to press the buzzer for help again advising that we did actually have a current booking reference. We were eventually let out. I've had to phone to get out of the barrier. They said I was in the wrong car park yet when I booked I booked short stay 3 which I was in .
