Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport Average/poor on arrival we had to park far away near an out of service bus stop. On collection it wasn't clear which bus was which. Driver was not very responsive/ helpful drove too fast lots of small children were upset. Dropped off in the middle of nowhere along with other people in the dark. Eventually orientated ourselves and found our car. Noticed families that were on our bus heading along the roadside going to another air parks. Buses should be clearly marked and drivers should use microphone to state clearly which bus takes you where and when they are specific stops. Nightmare for families with lots of children luggage or people with any disabilities. When not busy it's an excellent service if there are courteous drivers on board. Mr Shannon 29 Jul, 2022

Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport The directions to the car park were poor, unsure if we were in the right carpark for 3 weeks. Holiday Extras should be identified on the notices. Also at the barrier when we were leaving at 3am, it would not let my car out. If there is one exit for cars then it should be indicated that way. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport Straight forward booking online. With lots of subsequent airport delays it was great to then get a message to say it was okay to arrive and park slightly early. Easy access at barriers upon entry. Transfer service to airport fine. Upon return transfer back to car park the bus was too overcrowded. Exiting car park was easy but the sign after exit to indicate to turn right was partly damaged are not that obvious. With the airports cctv and strict no stopping rules etc. This could lead to drivers being fined for missing the turn and stopping to turn around which could be avoided as it would spoil what had been a good holiday. As the airport exit from the car park means having to turn right (ahead is a dead end) the signing needs to be much clearer. On a couple of occasions our flight has been badly delayed and we have exceeded our parking exit slot. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport No problem getting bus back to airport departures after parking car. Prior to that well signed to arrive at Long Stay 1. Only thing that on my return was a little confusing was that the bus which arrived at the bus stop did not have Long stay 1 signed on the display strip. Good job I asked the driver if he went there, otherwise I would have been waiting a further 15 mins for the next bus. The gentleman was really friendly and polite which put me at ease. He sent me a token to use via the machine and was very apologetic that I had a problem getting through the barrier. Finding a space was easy too, so I parked up in a matter of minutes. Simply driving up to the barrier and within a few seconds opening to gain access both coming too and leaving. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport I’ve spoken with my car in quite some depth, he liked both the fact your barrier opened when it saw him “went straight to his engine†he also liked the spot we left him in, he loves watching the planes take off and land, he is always shouting up at them, I explain they won’t hear him as the engines make so much noise, but still he continues to do it, he was very proud of himself managing not to drop any oil or water on the floor and even kept his battery charged up, the only thing he would have liked was if you could have say a VIP section for Hot convertible lady cars and maybe an oil change area. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport It was just so easy! We drove to the barrier, it recognised our number plate, and we were let in. Parked and on the bus within mins. No queues, no waiting. Fabulous. Our return was just as easy. Clear signage through arrivals as to where to wait for the bus, then no more than a min wait. Back to our car and off home. I wouldn't hesitate to park this way again. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport A few problems: things have changed since I regularly used Airparks. We saw no signs to "Airparks", and one shuttle-bus driver said that they closed down years ago. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport The driver who was on shift Saturday 8th July between the hours of and hours; was so rude to the wife and I. We were the only holiday passengers on the bus. He drove like a maniac refusing to listen to where we were trying to explain our stop point. He refused to give his name. Wore a black wrist support. Told us that he was the only individual with common sense. My wife was very distraught due to suffering with anxiety. I will certainly be sharing our appalling experience with fellow customers. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport Whilst the arrival instructions were good and the car park ideal, there was a problem on our return. According to your instructions we were to wait at the initial drop off point to be picked up by the transport bus. All of the car parks have been re-numbered and we were left standing at the bus stop for half an hour. We went back to the enquiry office to be told that long stay 4 is now long stay 1 and should be boarded at the bus shelter outside the terminal. Perhaps you should re-edit your instructions. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport I put a 5. I wouldn't have thought that was something to celebrate. The signs were rubbish. The location of the car park had changed since my previous visit a year ago. I booked a car park that didn't need a shuttle but ended up same car park number but a long shuttle bus away. Only reasonable thing is the price and could find a good space. I would use airports again as you have been great on previous trips, but I really hope things are sorted next time. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport I pre-booked and paid on-line which was very easy, when I arrived my number plate was not recognised, I spoke to someone over the intercom, he couldn't find my booking but issued me with a token and raised the barrier. On my return I inserted the token and the display asked me to pay a further £50. I spoke to someone again over the intercom who eventually found my booking and raised the barrier. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport The service we received from Airparks was first class and such an easy process.Having pre-booked the car parking we just turned up at Long Stay 4, the barrier recognised our car registration and we went straight in and parked near to a bus stop. We waited only a few minutes for the shuttle which took us to departures in no time. On returning we caught the shuttle within a few minutes, went quickly to the car park and we were very soon on our way home. Great service, good prices. Long Stay 1 East-midlands Airport Well going was fine. We parked in the disabled bays hopped on no problem. However on return the first bus came was partly full, no spaces for bags at low levels. We explained to the driver we were disabled and couldn't lift the bags high but instead of asking for able bodied volunteers to maybe move their bag higher he said we would have to wait for another bus. So we waited, but this is hard as it is for my disabled father as he can't stand that long! The next bus came, the same thing. Third bus came and finally we got on. No one was willing to help, no one offered compassion. This was after my 74 year old mum was expected to push my 80 yr old 16 stone dad through baggage reclaim and somehow carry her cases too! But that is easy mids airports failure. All in all staff need to treat all passengers with respect and more so consider the repercussions of not helping elderly and disabled passengers. I'm no expecting them to lift bags I understand that is not part of their job description but to ask able bodied tonics their bags would have been helpful. We also accidently jumped onto the wrong car park bus on our return but the driver very kindly dropped us off at the correct bus stop where he had contacted the driver to wait for us.
