Before Boarding at Leeds-Bradford Airport

Leeds-Bradford offer two different methods of check-in, either online check-in or traditional airline desk check-in. All passengers must ensure that they check-in on time.

Parking

There are two long stay car parks, and two short stay car parks at Leeds-Bradford Airport. The long stay car parks do offer ‘turn up and park’ services but pre-booking online will save you money. Leeds-Bradford Airport parking facilities are covered by CCTV and are regularly patrolled. A 24 hour courtesy bus is available to collect you from the car park and drop you at the terminal.

The two short stay car parks are located a short walk away from the front of the terminal building. There is also a drop off and pick up zone right opposite the terminal but this zone cannot be booked, and parking is forbidden in this zone. The area also operates a no return within 30 minutes policy.

Hand Luggage and Liquids

Leeds-Bradford Airport has a strict hand luggage policy, only allowing one piece of hand baggage per passenger. It is important to note that handbags and laptop bags are not an exception. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they are aware of their airline’s hand luggage allowance.

Passengers are only allowed limited amounts of liquids on board the aeroplane, and those contained within hand luggage need to be carried within a transparent, re-sealable, plastic bag. It is strongly recommended that you carry any liquids in your checked-in baggage if it is not necessary for you to carry it. Cosmetics, gels, pastes, lotions and solid mixtures are all classed as liquids.

Security

It is important that all passengers ensure that they allow sufficient time to pass through security and arrive at the gate to board. Your boarding card will be inspected at security, and all passengers are required to pass the screening process.
